Introduction
Bach Wen is a tranquil and peaceful site overlooking Caernarfon Bay in North
Wales. It can be found near the village of Clynnog Fawr, 7 miles to the
west of Caernarfon.
We lie on the beautiful Lleyn Peninsular, on the edge of Snowdonia National
Park.
Our cottages are converted buildings from the working farm that served the St Beuno
Monastery which dates back to the 7th century. The 9 stone cottages offer outstanding views in all directions.
From the paddocks in front of the cottages you get a spectacular view of Caernarfon Bay,
Anglesey, Holy Island and the imposing Three Rivals mountain range (see top
right virtual tour). The backdrop to our site is the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia
and, when the weather is fortunate with us, we have breath-taking sunsets over Caernarfon Bay.
